Then we went to the beach to watch the sunset. What a thing.

I know it’s pretty cold back home in Sweden so I’m enjoying my time here in the heat.

LA. A cliché but a beautiful one. It’s both as I expected and very new and thrilling.

It’s a huge city, and I haven’t got any perspective yet at all. We’ve been in Hollywood, the Roxy and out in Reseda. Malibu today and Venice tomorrow.

But now sleep.

Today I was in San Francisco with my homies doing a show at “The Bottom Of The Hill” and we got some cool people showing up to the venue. I’m usually a bit shy about taking pictures but when you meet a guy as James Hetfield you just gotta take that picture.

We all had a chat for a while and James seemed to be a very cool and nice guy. Glad to have met him.

It’s been really nice on the west coast so far. I love New York City but this is something else. It was of course fun to see parts of the midwest but going to California has been a dream for a long time and so far so good.

Right now we’re driving to Los Angeles. A sold out Roxy Theatre. And then some vacation. What can I say. Pleased to be where I am.

Yesterday I had the best coffee on the whole trip. I’ve been out for two and a half week all over North America and I’ve tried cappuccinos in every city. Portland definitely the best one so far.

Only a few days left.. Going to L.A after this and a few days real vacation!

Only three more shows on this Ghost tour and then a few days vacation in L.A. First time in L.A. Looking forward to it.

So tonight Portland, tomorrow San Francisco and then Los Angeles Roxy Theatre.

I was the Blackhawks fan.

Yesterday Washington and tomorrow Montreal.

It’s fun to travel in the US. It’s very different from home.

Gonna watch Bodies today. A pretty fucked up exhibition but interesting I guess.

So it’s gonna be a few weeks in the US and then back home for this.

Two years ago I was supposed to be done.

When I wrote another album.

That I more or less threw away.

To go back.

And redo all the tracks.

Several times.

Then I mixed the whole thing and realized that it sucked.

So I made new songs and picked up some very old stuff I hadn’t done justice or released.

I then recorded everything just to delete 50% of everything because it was just TOO MUCH.

I then let my friend Henric join my to produce the record. He did a great job and then I deleted a few songs.

I then changed some more and let Henric once again help me to produce some of the tracks.

I then got bored and left them on my hard drive.

Booked plenty of job.

Started to finalize the album.

I used to record a song a day and after a month I picked the best and made an album.

It was so much better in the old times. (Like 6-7 years ago).

Bloody hell.
