Today was also cloudy and rainy but still it’s fantastic. The city is more mellow and more it’s easier to breath.

Absolut Noise wrote some nice words about me again and I actually started to write a spin off from his post on the fact that my music is pretty different from time to time. But then I realized I don’t really have to explain that. If you’ve heard a few songs you know that. And if you like it that’s great, and if you don’t, well that’s not really a problem is it?

Niels Nielsen is my name and I release music under that name. NNDC is something more specific. And there might be a specific NNDC record out later on. I’ve been thinking about it. We’ll see.

Enough is enough when you can’t see the sky from all the buildings. New York is truly something. Yes – we all now that. But when you’re here again it all comes back. Some many people. So many ideas. So many egos. So many great and some many stupid things. So nice and so dirty.

It’s so much of everything. Love it or hate it, that’s the way it is.

We had a lot of rain the other day and yesterday was really cloudy but that’s just pretty nice. Less tropical urban rainforest. The city gets a new face when it cloudy.

I didn’t go to Manhattan yesterday. Stayed in Williamsburg just chillin, and in the evening we went to a concert with Buke and Gass. It was awesome. Check them out. They were reaaally great live.

And today we will go to this big free concert and watch “Chromeo”. And that is gonna be… yes… absolutely right…. awe….some.

I wrote two memorial places, but I only got to one.

I was heading for Ground Zero aswell, but it was to hot today and I took to many detours and found so much other interesting stuff to see so I got tired and went back to Brooklyn instead.

I found a very nice record store just a few blocks away so I bought myself Sufjan Stevens “Illinoise” on a double vinyl for almost nothing and ordered the “Dark Night Of The Soul” on vinyl aswell. Awesome staff at that store. Earwax Records in Williamsburg.

It’s very hot and very humid. I’m gonna need more t-shirts that’s for sure.

So far I’ve just been strolling around with no plans or maps at all. Really nice just to to watch what’s in front of you for the moment. The city is very busy and I am not. It’s a nice contradiction. You stop and watch things ordinary people here in New York never look at anymore. They are so used to it all. The feeling of skyscrapers around you is pretty weird. It’s so unnatural and you can’t see the sun ‘cos of all the tall buildings. And in them there are thousands of people squeezed together on height.

I’m heading off right now to see two memorial places. Tell you more later.

I’m in New York to meet some friends and have some fun.

New York is really weird. Everywhere you look you find something interesting.

Anyway – I’ll post a few pics with random stuff just to get a glimpse of it all.
